Tentsile Experience Camps (TECs) are the world’s greenest tree hotels for environmentally conscious travellers. Since the first TEC began in Finland in 2015, visitors have been offered a once-in-a-lifetime, low-carbon experience in the most beautiful natural locations and World Heritage Sites around the world. Camps have also been piloted in several National Parks in Finland and Italy to help with conservation of the area. It’s possible to make a success of a TEC in just one season. Here is an example from Finland.
The season runs from May to September with an average of 50% occupancy equal to 75 nights in total. This was set up by one person leading the camp.
